Farm Life

Life at the farm is great. Horses go out all day regardless of the weather, and it’s such a pleasure to watch them each day as they walk out to their assigned pastures. Alfalfa is fed at 7:00 AM and then horses are turned out to their pastures at 9:00 AM, where they spend most of their day. If it’s a training day, they’ll spend some quality time with our trainer to work on saddle or sensitivity training or practice their dressage or jumping skills. Then they return to their pastures to enjoy the rest of their day running, grazing, and playing with the other horses. At 4:00 PM they’re brought in to their cleaned stalls for the evening to enjoy a Timothy dinner and a good night’s rest before heading out to the pastures again in the morning.

PS Arabians owner Sheila Stewart gives Thee Aurora, a chestnut Arabian mare in foal, her a pep talk before she gives birth to her foal

Ready from the Start

The most fun of the year is when our horses are born. I have been present for every birth! And I’ve been there to give all our mares in-foal that very important pep talk when they’re almost ready to deliver. Our babies start their training at birth: from their first clipping at two days old, to halter training and working with the Farrier not long after, they get ready from the start. This not only makes saddle training easier, but helps our new little ones adjust better to the world and grow up calm and confident.

The Quality of PS Arabians Horses

We have sold horses to new owners in many states and several countries around the world. Our initials, “PS,” are recognized around the world as a producer of quality horses. Many of the horses we’ve sold have gone on to be great champions in shows and competitions, and all of them have become steadfast, loving riding companions.

If you’re looking for a quality horse from a caring breeder, look no further than PS Arabians! Contact us today to schedule an appointment to tour our farm. We’d love to have you.
